We know you're sharing things here that are deeply personal. We take that seriously. This page explains plainly what we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with it.

What we collect

When you use SteadyGuide, we store:

• Your email address, if you choose to save your conversations
• The content of your conversations
• Basic session information (when conversations were started)

You can use SteadyGuide without providing an email address. If you don't save your conversations, we don't collect any identifying information about you.

How your conversations are used

Your conversation content is sent to OpenAI to generate responses. OpenAI's API terms state that they do not use API data to train their models. Your conversations are not used to improve or train any AI system.

We do not read your conversations. We do not share them with anyone. We do not sell them.

Conversations are stored so you can return to them. That's the only reason.

Who can see your data

Your conversations are stored in our database. As the operator of this service, we have technical access to that database, but we do not access, review, or read user conversations except in cases where it is required to diagnose a technical problem, and only then with care.

We do not share your data with third parties, advertisers, or anyone else.

Data security

Your data is stored with Supabase, which encrypts data at rest and in transit. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, though no system is completely immune to risk.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual conversations or your entire account directly from your conversations page. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data immediately.
